Coffee

DATOS CURIOSOS

Coffee was discovered during the 6th century in Ethiopia. Ethiopian legend has it that a shepherd named Kaldi noticed that his goats were agitated and very active when they ate the red berries of a tree, full of curiosity he decided to take the berries to a monk of a neighboring temple, who infused them for his monks.

La infusión tenía un mal sabor, sin embargo, al ver que al beberla, presentaban los mismos "síntomas" que las cabras, decidió mejorar su sabor al secar y tostarlas, mejorando completamente su sabor y características.

Coffee is actually a red fruit that grows on the bush called the coffee bush or coffee plant. The aforementioned cherry is first subjected to a drying process, then the husk that covers the green bean is removed and the bean is later roasted to be as we know it.
